- Dollores
- Dollores,is a native of Salt Lake City, Utah. She began her sculpure career after she and her husband Dean had raised six children. Dollores served as a docent at Hogle Zoo in Salt Lake for several years, where she gained a great love for the animals of our earth. Because of this she has chosen them as the subject for her work. The story behind Dollores is extraordinary, and one to be shared with the public. A self taught sculptor. Dollores began her work at age 60 now 82, she is still active in the arts community. She had the honor of being selected for the years from 1994-95 to 1997-98 to place life size pieces of her work in Cypress Gardens Endangered Species Scupture Park, in Winter Haven FL. This was the beginning of creating life size sculptures for Dollores. She has been able to sell her work throughout the United States, and has recieved awards on several of her pieces.
TEAR DROPS:
There called TEAR DROPS because most of the animal in the tear are on the endangered list.
